Aikaterini Liakopoulou is a Brussels-based executive with a track record in deep-tech in Silicon Valley and Europe. Her corporate career has been 360: from research & development to software engineering and product management, to sales, operational excellence, and business development. In 2015 she moved to California to work in corporate innovation and venture capital for EDF (an $80B energy company). There she scouted the 100+ most disruptive Bay Area startups that ended up both in moonshots with several US and European business units and several direct investments through EDF's Venture capital arms in Europe, the US, and Canada.
Since 2021, Aikaterini has been a top-rated business coach and due diligence expert for the EIC. To date, she has coached 20+ companies across the Pathfinder, Transition, and Accelerator pillars on mission, vision, execution, fundraising, and exit. In Oct. 2022 portfolio company Oterlu (a Swedish startup that removes toxic behavior from the web) was acquired by Reddit.
