Flavia Richardson

Flavia Richardson is the Chief Commercial Officer at Velocity Juice, leading on the market strategy and partnerships.

Flavia started her career in venture capital ten years ago. She dedicated her time working with several funds in their investment teams and managing portfolio companies, including P&O investment arm, London Co-Investment Fund, and Beacon Capital. Flavia spent the last two years and a half at Silicon Valley Bank as Vice-President in the Early Stage Practice, working with some of the most exciting technology companies in life sciences and healthcare, growing the portfolios by 200+ companies and over £400m of capital while originating venture debt deals for corporate and growth teams.

Flavia worked for the European Commission as an Expert Evaluator for two years, looking at the most innovative companies funded by the SME Instruments and Horizon 2020 programmes, now currently advising as an Expert Coach and Jury member for the EIC Accelerator. She continues to advise founders and is a dedicated mentor for London and Partners, 360 Capital, SVG Ventures, Space Camp, Oxford University Hospital Accelerator, St John's Innovation Centre and Start Codon.

As founder of Acclivity Ventures, she is preparing to launch a series of on-demand workshops for early-stage founders focused on Central and Eastern Europe, supporting to demystify concepts and processes involved in high growth companies. Improving the access to knowledge and networks for founders.

Flavia is a qualified solicitor by background, working on becoming a chartered accountant with ACCA.
