  • Building up cooperation with the European Blood Alliance EBA
  • Defining cross industry positions papers on certain important topics for the blood bag industry such as the DEHP positions paper or the MDR blood bag up-classification position paper
  • Present the BTA interests and position to representative of the European Commission
  • Present the BTA positions to various European stakeholder of the Transfusion and MedTech industry, such as Medtech European, VCI, BDI, BVMed and others

Vice President Global Product Management and R&D Devices - 2017-2018

  • Lead global product management for Whole blood Technology
  • Define annual strategy plans for the WBT business to expand the business
  • Compile R&D development plans for innovative products
  • Drive business growth and support sales organization as required

  • Responsibilities include WBT R&D centers in Germany, The Netherlands, Italy and Lake Zurich, Illinois, US
