Vassilis Tsanidis is an Innovation Procurement (IP) advisor at the Transition and Business Acceleration Services (BAS) Unit of the European Innovation Council. He has extensive experience on IP matters as he has worked for several years as policy officer in that field in DG CNECT/European Commisison. He has also worked in the past (inter alia) as EU programs manager in the Region of Central Macedonia (Greece), as advisor in an Interreg Managing Authority and as legal advisor in the Cabinet of the Minister of Macedonia and Thrace (Greece). He has designed a training program on IP certified by the Greek National Training School for public administration that is addressed to public sector officers in the country. He is also trainer on IP at the European Institute for Public Administration.
Vassilis holds a PhD in European Business Law, a Master’s Degree in the same domain and a Bachelor of laws. He is also holder of a Bachelor and a Master’s Degree in the field of Social Sciences.
