Yvette is an experienced venture capital investor with a 25-years track record of successfully identifying, building and developing business opportunities, as an investor in innovative companies, fund-of-funds and through hands-on operations and management inside international businesses.
She has been active in sustainable investments since 2008, having invested in sustainable energy technology companies at SET Ventures and in positive impact funds as the Head of Social and Environmental Impact at the European Investment Fund. She is currently a key manager for the Capricorn Sustainable Chemistry Fund at Capricorn Partners. She is also an IC member at WIRE Private Markets Fund, an impact-focused fund-of-funds, and Jury Member for the European Innovation Council (EIC) Accelerator Programme.
She started her career with 10 years at Royal DSM and Shell International Chemicals in roles which include global product portfolio management, sales, procurement and product development, for various performance materials and chemicals. Yvette holds a Master of Business Administration from IESE Business School (Global Executive MBA 2008, Spain) and a Master of Science in Chemical Engineering from Delft University of Technology (Netherlands).
